The CBCT offers many advantages:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li class=\"li1\">The radiation dose received by the patient during a\u00a0<b>CBCT<\/b> scan is very low. One conventional\u00a0<b>CAT\u00a0<\/b>scan is equivalent to <b>75\u00a0<\/b><strong>CBCT.<\/strong><\/li>\r\n \t<li class=\"li1\">The scan time is very short, around two minutes.<\/li>\r\n \t<li class=\"li1\">It\u2019s an open scanner, so it is more comfortable for the patient and avoids the feeling of claustrophobia.<\/li>\r\n \t<li class=\"li1\">Images obtained from a conventional\u00a0<b>CAT<\/b>\u00a0scan have a higher resolution than images from a\u00a0<b>CBCT\u00a0<\/b>scan. However, to achieve this quality, the amount of radiation the patient receives is also higher.
