This is a project coordinated by Xavier Gil, rector of the UIC, and with the participation of Prof. Hern\u00e1ndez Alfaro among other researchers from numerous Spanish universities.<\/p>\n<p>The objective of the project is to focus research on real problems by establishing a communication network between researchers working in biomaterials with bactericidal functions in oral implantology and clinicians investigating different strategies to reduce infection in patients who have been treated with dental implants.
