Facial asymmetry

Cristina came to the clinic because she began to notice that her face was becoming increasingly asymmetrical. After consulting several specialists, she realized she suffered from condylar hyperplasia, meaning her right condyle was developing much more rapidly than her left.

To correct this anomaly and reverse the asymmetry caused by condylar growth, Cristina turned to Prof. Hernandez Alfaro, who performed a low-impact orthofacial surgery that consisted of:

- Right condylectomy
- Maxilla centering and leveling
- Mandible centering and leveling
- Centering mentoplasty
- Centering rhinoplasty

Five months after her surgery, Cristina shares her experience.
