Our patient Irene came to our clinic to correct her Class III malocclusion, which was causing her a great deal of insecurity and self-consciousness.
To correct it, Professor Hernandez Alfaro performed two procedures, one year apart:
- First, a SARPE (Surgical Applied Rhinoplasty) was performed, as Irene's upper jaw was too narrow to fit her lower teeth properly.
- One year later, once her upper jaw had reached the correct size, she underwent bimaxillary orthognathic surgery to reposition her dental arches, giving her a more balanced profile.
