Alexia came to our center to treat facial asymmetry caused by a jaw deviation, as well as a narrow upper jaw that also resulted in dental crowding.
After completing her orthodontic preparation, Alexia underwent bimaxillary surgery with Dr. Hernández Alfaro, which involved:
- Segmentation of the left side of the upper jaw, including expansion, leveling, counter-clockwise rotation, and centering.
- Advancement, counter-clockwise rotation, centering, and leveling of the lower jaw.
Ten months after surgery—and having finished her orthodontic treatment—Alexia is happy with her new look, and functionally, her bite finally aligns as it should.
