With over 200 orthognathic surgeries performed annually, Professor Federico Hernández-Alfaro, Chair of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, is a leading international expert in orthognathic surgery.

Throughout his clinical and academic career, he has developed and published minimally invasive orthognathic surgery techniques, now used by specialists worldwide to treat dentofacial malocclusions, facial asymmetries, and obstructive sleep apnea.
