What is ModJaw?
ModJaw is a state-of-the-art tool that accurately captures and reproduces jaw movements in real time. Thanks to this technology, we can observe from all angles how the patient's dynamic occlusion works, and from there, create a 4D digital model that faithfully reproduces their teeth.
The system collects essential static and dynamic data, such as the axis of the temporomandibular joint, the contact points between both dental arches and key parameters such as occlusal curvature. All of this translates into more accurate diagnoses, highly personalized treatments, and the possibility of designing prostheses identical to the patient's original teeth.
How does it work? The 4 steps of 4D design with ModJaw
Creating the 3D model
Using an intraoral scanner, we obtain a digital replica of the patient's mouth. This model is much more accurate than physical molds, which guarantees a solid basis for analysis and design.
Real-time analysis (4D)
We study the patient's chewing through a virtual model that shows the mandibular movement in real time. This gives us a much more complete view than old physical articulators.
CAD/CAM-assisted design
With the data collected, the CAD/CAM software suggests the ideal design of the necessary dental prostheses, adapting to the specific characteristics of each patient.
Immediate manufacturing of prostheses
The prostheses are produced on the spot on a 3D milling machine, guaranteeing a perfect fit and aesthetically impeccable results.
