Helmet therapy does not help babies

Dr. Adaia Valls comments on the interesting news about a recent study on skull bones of babies.

Craniosynostosis is a congenital deformity in which the sutures that separate the skull bones of the baby close prematurely. Up to this date, the therapy for these patients has been tackled orthopedically and surgically, but we should not forget that here we are dealing with paediatric patients who need very specific treatments. This is why such studies are extremely important to improve the quality of life of these patients.
